Noisy Neighbors

What a difference a year makes.
We moved into this apartment when it was owned by Jefferson at Thomas Farm. Everything was new and the landscaping was nicely done. Management was changed to Summit Fallsgrove and we started to have problems.
1) When we moved in there was no one above or below our apartment. It was quiet and pleasent. We were happy with the volume and decieded to renew for another year. Soon after we renewed the apartments above and below got rented out. The noise levels have reached unbearable levels. Above us the family stomps on the floor sometimes so loud that the window vibrates. Asking them to be mindful of the poor insulation between the floors has had no effect. They seem like inconsiderate neighbors. In addition we had problems with the tenents in the ajointing building and their loud dogs. Compaining to the management results in no change.
2) This brings up the second major flaw. The office is beyond bad. From not alerting you when packages arive from UPS, to doing nothing with the landscaping for the better part of the year. Any complaints that you may have are promptly brushed off and little or no action taken.
3) Our washer has broken several times since moving in. The facing is pealing off of the cabinets. Parking is bad with several of the tenets unable to park their cars within the painted lines. There are no assigned spots. The landscaping has been destroyed by the children in the complex and no real effort has been made to fix this.

Update:
Still have the landscaping problems. Still have the workmanship problems. Now you can add rent hike to the list. See the review on the rent increase. It looks like our rent is going up $300 a month. What does the increase buy' I don't see any improvements. With gas prices so high it would be nice if you could save some money on the heat and rent, but you can't. We will soon be gone. The value of these apartments is in a tail spin. If you got money to flush done the toilet then this is the place for you.
