When they showed us the terrace level apartment, they took us through a side entrance under the pretext that it would save time. In fact, after we moved in and used the real entrance we realized the true reason: the unit was next door to the compactor room, which we were unable to see from the side that we approached the apartment. There were all kinds of roaches, and early morning noises from the garbage room. Our air conditioner gave off a metallic smell that rendered it unbearable and made me fear potential brain damage.
Several times we saw hoods in the parking lot, one of which taunted me "hey, white boy!"
There is a dumpster by the side entrance in the parking lot that is not emptied frequently enough. As a result, there is a huge pile of garbage. The best part is that a family of racoons sits atop the garbage. Say hello to your little friends!

If you like those rodents, you'll love the rats working in the rental office. We signed up for a short term lease, and at the end we turned in the keys and we were told we had to give 2 months notice, so we were on the hook for two months rent. This was only a lease of several months! Plus their policy is only to show an apartment after it has been vacated, so it's not like they're able to rent it out to somebody else any sooner if they have 2 months notice or 2 days notice. We didn't pay anything, and then after a few months they persisted in demanding the full sum. Then, some research on my part revealed that the apartment had already been occupied a month after we left. In other words, the management was trying to collect rent from TWO different tenants for the same unit. These people are a bunch of sheisters who will try to rob you at every chance they get. Stay away from them at all costs.
