While all of these reviews are accurate, let me divulge. Yes, there is a bug problem (roachs, MAINLY) but can be corrected with a call to maintenece and supplying your own traps (they do go away!). Yes, it does smell of the different ethnicities cooking food when you walk in to the foyer/hallway (not apts). If you realize that's all it is, it's not a problem. Yes, parking can suck. You might have to park an extra 25 feet away than where you parked yesterday. There are a minimum of 250 people living in each building. Sorry if you don't get the front spot. Suck it up lazy. But the thing that really pisses me off, is that they advertise an "Aquatic Swim Center". What the hell is that'!' Is that what the pool is once it is done being built in August' or is it now September' This aquatic swim center had been in the plans for a while. They started building it in February. Or was it March' Who knows. All I can tell you is that for the tenants, including lots and lots of children, there is NO pool for the summer. But wait! they offer pool passes for the Rockville Municipal Swim Center on the other side of town. You can pickup passes at the office during business hours, but like me, most people don't work normal business hours. They have offered no reimbursment towards not having a pool. In fact they say they compensated nicely by offering the pool passes. Well, if they were to drive me there and pick me up, might be a slightly different store. But when I have to pack the car, spend my money on gas getting to the pool, and dealing with the entire community of Rockville instead of grabbing a towel and walking to pool. Bite me. the reason they don't compensate is becasue amenities are not broken down individually. So Yes, to they are crooks. They are even raising rent by 3% (still not having a pool, and never have had the chance to go before). Alright, to sum up this novel, yes its a good place to live. If you can tolerate some bugs, interesting cooking, and no pool. It is convient to walk to the Pike and shopping and metro! But based on reviews of all of the communities managed by this company, the highest rating was a 61%. That is out of hundreds of reviews for 8 different facilities. That is pitiful! Biggest complaints: awful managment and insects/vermin. Only advice, don't just look at their model apt, ask to see YOUR apt BEFORE signing a lease. If your not happy ask to switch or leave. Hope my book on Apt hunting helps.
