Anyway, I will agree with the cooking smells in the hall. It isn't every day and I do not smell anything in my apartment. When I left my apartment this morning, I could tell one of my neighbors had made bacon. It made me very hungry. I'm not partial to fish day though.

The noise depends upon your neighbors. For the most part, I've been lucky. This complex used to be comprised of older residents. It was blessedly quiet then. I see a lot more children nowadays. I did have a problem with a college student living below me several years ago. He played his stereo at 3am on a weeknight. It was so loud I could hear the music clearly in the hallway when I went down to threaten him with the police.

For me, the best part of the complex is the convenience. It is close to Rockville Pike and the Metro. The management is fairly responsive to maintenence requests and the new pool/gym center is fantastic.

Probably you are very lucky. I've been here only 3.8 years but I saw all kinds of bugs you can imagine including bed bugs and ---- roaches. I also saw poisoned snake infront of my door and mice. However, whenever you saw it the maintenance team responsed very quickly and it seems not only the apartment's responsibility of them though.
