I have been a resident for nearly a year at this complex (now called Fields of Rockville). Overall it has been a positive experience. Management is alway kind and eager to help, dispite the high turnover rate. I have had no maintanence issues so I can't comment on whether or not their service is good.
Parking is ok. On my street it is only street (parallel) parking, which is kind of a pain. I always park in the lot, which requires me to walk around to the other side of another building. I don't mind, but it is annoying with luggage or groceries. Noise has not been a problem, but I think that is mostly due to good neighbors.
I think the biggest negative is simply that the building is old. Small rooms, low ceilings, old kitchens and appliances. It also has a roach problem. Personally, I keep my kitchen very clean, so I don't have a problem. Leaving any food out will bring roaches though. It's pretty gross. They management did have exterminators come in, but it was really just a huge hassle for residents. You had to have your kitchen completly empty (nothing in cabinets) and be out of the apartment for 4 hours, then come back and open all windows for an hour. A major hassle, but at least they made an effort (there are still bugs too...)
It's not the best, but the rent is low relative to the rest of the area. Utility bills were all resonable. Good for the money, but don't expect luxury. I will be paying more somewhere else next year.

Do you live in building 409? Do you have a daughter named Rebecca? Rebecca said she moved to the fields last year.
