I was recently contacted to update my review, by someone that did not share my feelings regarding Fireside Apartments. After 2 years of reflection, I stand-by my comments. My husband and I used the equity to construct a new house in Charlotte, NC. I even transferred my lease to another Equity Apartment, while the house is beng built. I am sure that many people are frustrated by maintenance problems and the assertiveness required to resolve those problems, but I defy you to find a better deal in Rockville. Again, you get what you pay for and in my book, the positives far out weigh the negatives.

Don´t miss out on this former condo site. My husband and I moved in two months ago and while the apartments are older than the models going up around Montgomery County, you are certainly compensated by the price. We are less than 1 mile from the metro, 355, 270, and the Rockville movie theatre. We take brisk walks in the morning around Dogwood Park and can´t wait to go swimming in the pool this summer. We have a two bedroom with a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and fireplace and all for $400 less than most apartments with comparable amenities in Montgomery County. There have been some maintenance issues, but no more than one would expect with an older apartment. Plus with the amount of money you save in rent and the amount of money you build in equity to buy with Beazer homes, it is a small price to pay. In fact my husband and I are so happy with it, we are considering staying for 3-5 years, so we can go directly into our dream home.
