This is easily the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in, though it didn't start out that way. In that assessment, I include off-campus student housing during college, where I had to fight off palmetto bugs with a stick.

Initially, the place seemed OK, not great, but not awful. However, with each new management team (I use the term VERY loosely, since some of them spent more time sniping at each other than in managing the property) the quality of service, courtesy & overall competance, particularly in the case of the maintenance staff, fell markedly, until the latest group when it augered into the ground.

In the last year, I have had to make repeated maintenance requests, in some cases to repair damage CAUSED by the previous attempts to repair or replace simple items. When I have made these requests I have been subjected to derisive comments about my ability to make simple observations.

The particle board countertops & cabinetry is disintegrating due to leaking pipes and steam released from a badly installed dishwasher. Dust literally blows out of the Heating & AC vents, which have not been cleaned in the entire time I have been in residence. The AC filters are changed only when I have insisted upon it. The AC itself has frequently been off-line, and the staff has never held true to the 48hour turn-around stated in the lease. I have been witness to cases when the maintenance staff have come in only long enough to leave a receipt so that they can claim that they have satisfied the letter of the lease. I also know for a fact that they have made use of the bathroom facilities in my apartment without permission, leaving fecal matter in the commode.

Under no circumstances would I recommend this complex to anyone, particularly anyone with children or concerns for their personal health.
