Believe me it's horrible! Most of us kids call it "Fireside." It's not safe here. Not just involving crimes but the fires that occured here as well. What a great name...Fireside Park. Three years ago, I knew someone in my fourth grade class that lived here. She and here sister lost everything do to a fire here. She and her family were forced to move. The only good thing about this place are the grounds. There are NO utilities included here so you have to pay for EVERYTHING WITH A HIGH RENT NOT WORTH IT. The surrounding areas are actually nice, but don't be fooled-in here it's ghetto. Something great outside this ghetto would be the excellent schools, parks, shopping, and metro. And hey, I did move out of the place but not far, and even though I didn't move far, the place I live in now its WAY nicer than this one. Don't forget, Fireside has parking problem nightmares. And poor maintenance/management. Avoid moving here the best you can! Good Luck!

Ghetto??? What are you talking about? I have lived there for a while. I would not consider this place ,"Ghetto" at all. You need to step outside Montgomery county if you think this place is ghetto. I have had no problems whatsoever, I have never felt threatened here at all. I feel completely safe walking home from the metro in the middle of the night. So Im not sure what your talking about when you say ghetto, apparently you need to go check out some other area's outside of Rockville to see what a ghetto really looks like. The problem with a site like this, is that only the disgruntled people reply, and instead of giving an objective review of a place and keeping things in perspective, they just tend to rant and make a place sound worse than it really is. Dont listen to this nonsense, there are two sides to every story.

I agree. I've seen Ghetto. Go to some places in PG County and then you'll see Ghetto. I lived at fireside and the only complaint i had is nosey neighbors living over top of me with really really loud kids. I loved my apartment at fireside, especially the fire place. They keep the property clean and the parking wasn't that bad. You had the option to park on the street depending on where you lived at in the neighborhood. I would definitely not call it Ghetto. The office staff can be a little more caring but other then that i would recommend it to a friend. It was actually one of the cheapest apartment communities in Montgomery county. Its not anymore, but its not a bad place to live

I guess it is time for you to move to a ghetto place. Rockville is ranked 64th as the best county to live in. People that can not afford always tend to take it out on there landlord hoping for a compensation and rent discounts. Your post is full of nonsense and take note that nothing is free. Also, your friends probably has renters insurance and they might even be thankful to that fire. So I call your post B.S and pointless.

Yea well, if youre forteunate to have a ice experience, i guess its ok here and rather cheap...... However, all my utilities dont work very well in the first place, and when something goes wrong it took them forever just to contact me about it, and another eternity to get it fixed, if i can even call what they did Fixing it in the first place.. this place can be tolerated, it does walk a fine line between ghetto and not. I can say this much, when my lease is up I am out of here.
