I am writing to complain about unfair treatment after I moved out of Fireside Park Apartments (located in 735 Monroe Street, Rockville, MD 20850). One and half years ago when I moved in Apt# 747-202, the carpet and other facilities in that apartment were already very old and for sure not in good conditions. As I paid the rent every month, they wore out normally. I have been in this country for 15 years and lived in many apartments, and never paid those kinds of NONSENSE charges. Therefore, I am in no way responsible for your carpet replacement and wall painting.

For sake of your company s reputation and professionalism, I am looking forward to fair decision from your corporation top management. Most importantly, it is not only for getting my money (deposit $650) back, but for having respect and dignity as US resident. I am getting in touch with your top management of Equity Residential as well as considering taking a legal action if necessary.

Enclosed, please find the unfair document (STATEMENT OF DEPOSIT) prepared by Uchenna Oputa and approved by Fireside Park Manager Kessy Ann Farmer dated on June 22, 2009.

Do you evidence that the carpet was dirty when you moved in? If so why not show it to them hell if i was the manager i would give you your money back with sufficient evidence. But if you are just trying to rip off the management because you want your money after trashing the place then good luck to you. P.S Write everything down when you move in and ask them to put it in your file anywhere so you will have evidence. Claim without proof is garbage.
