I lived here for almost 3 years and I liked it. The location was great (very near to the metro, the market next door etc) and the view was also very nice. Building was pretty well maintained, doorman was helpful. The apartment itself was great. Spacious and well-lit, balcony etc. There is a constant buzz of the beltway if you live facing west but thats not such a big deal. However, the attitude of management left quite a bit to be desired. The managers who joined in 2006 were rude and rather unhelpful with most things. Service was mixed. Sometimes it was efficient, sometimes it wasnt.
Another downside was the price. The rent was pretty steep to begin with and they dont seem to care much for the long term residents (instead focussing on getting new ones with offers). The rent kept rising at ridiculous levels every year.
