Sorry, the previous review is a bit over the top. I've visited these apartments and had a tour with the staff looking at the one bedrooms. The fact is that the rooms themselves are very old and in one apartment we walked into, it looked and felt as if the floors were caving in. Furthermore, the appliances are all from the stone age and the hot water system is on electricity...hmmm, I wonder who pays for that' That's probably why the room rate has dropped to such low levels these days. Finally, a friend of mine who lives in this "California style" apartment complained to me that it's too hot in summer because the air-conditioning doesn't operate properly. Management solution: "Well, there's nothing that can be done about that"!! Yeah, California style apartment - more like California style heat wave!
I must admit though, the actual apartment grounds do look impressive at night with the lighting the way it is.
