I have resided in this community for about 7 1/2 months.....I love my apartment & the people here. I have never had any problems with the office staff whatsoever...I did get a notice on my door about paying rent late but made a phone call to the office & they dismissed the late fee! They have always been very nice & accomodating. My only problem now is they have not turned the AIR CONDITIONER on!!! My apt. is on the ground level & is very hard to cool......I called the front office & they said they do NOT have any control over it. KAY MGMT. has full control & will flip the switch in about 2 weeks! Next Wednesday it is supposed to be in the lower 80's! They said as long as the temp. stays in the lower 40's at night the ac will not be turned on! This is absolutely absurd. I have kept my screen door & kitchen window open all day while at work....my carpet is now getting damp from all of the moisture outside & my apartment has started to STINK! So far I have killed 2 wolf spiders, one in my bedroom & one in the family room!!! Due to the screen door,windows being Open I am sure.... Last night I had to make a trip to Bed Bath & Beyond to purchase a vortex fan for my bedroom....I have barely slept the past 3 nights because of the heat. If I would have known this fact when signing the lease I would have never signed! I really do like Village Square West & it's staff but do not plan on living in the community any further when my lease runs out if I have to endure this heat for another 2 weeks! PLEASE TURN THE AIR CONDITIONER ON KAY MGMT....
