I've lived here for 3 years. The price is expensive, but cheap compared throughtout the area. However our rent has increased 10% each year (double the county average.) We live on the ground floor, and also have a spider & ant problem--although a few ant traps every April has alway done the trick (it helps if you actually clean you aprt once in awhile). Tha A/C has never worked, but we have managed w/ fans. Our A/C leaked and caused mold on the ceiling, hwich has never been fixed. INstead of fixing the A/C, the contractors scraped off the mold and repainted, so the mold keeps coming back. The office staff is terrible--they do lie to you--and "lose" packages constantly. The maintance is friendly and quick for emergencies, but theyre overwhelmed and we have to rely on the office staff to rely messages to them--there should be a direct line. The tenants in my bldg are quiet & friendly. I consider this to be a safe area, but thats my perspective. The Metro is far, but there are several bus stops right there & they all go the Metro station. Overall, not bad, but gald to be moving to PA
