Run while you still can!

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2001
I lived there exactly a year because by the time my lease was up (or so I thought)I was ready to get the hell out.
I moved out while my two other roomates stayed (poor souls). I followed the standard porcedings VSW set down in order to get off the lease including signing a vacate notice form with my roomates and got it noterized. Within two weeks I received a call about a situation in the apartment that had already occured since I left. I thought not a big deal and reminded them to take a look into their file cabinet and there they could find the vacate notice form I had taken the trouble to get noterized while reading off my ex-roomates phone number. But they had lost it and so I had to get another form and get it noterized again (this time I made a copy). Two weeks later I get another call well after I had asked them to stop calling me and telling them that I no longer live there. So I got a lawyer involved where they reassured him that I was off the lease. So after all this and a few more phone calls today I get another phone call regarding the apartment and it has been an entire year since I have moved out and never mind the fact that my old roomates have moved out since then. I would change my phone number just so I wouldn't have to see their number or hear their vioces again but they would probably just call my parents house. So I am confident that if you have takne the time to read through all of these complaints and have some common sense run while you still can because once to sign that lease apparently you are bound to them for life.
