DON'T MOVE HERE if you can. I was thinking I was saving money by moving here. "free utilities, metro accessible, cat friendly...", but in the end we really lost out.

About 2 weeks before we were supposed to move, we were burglarized in the middle of the day. After speaking with the detective, it seems like there has been SEVERAL robberies. We lost about $10,000 worth of valuables. It is not safe.

To make it worse, the next morning, we walk out to find our car gone. Of course we thought it was stolen, but the damn management towed it because it was not parked in the visitors spot. The visitors spots are instead filled with illegally parked cars that have been sitting there for years. yes, years.

Management is terrible. They didn't even have the decency to call to see if any one was injured. They were not understanding at all after towing our car, and made us pay the $110 fee anyway. They are friendly in the begginning, and snotty when you live there.

Storage is a nightmare. the apartment is old, poorly laid out, and the closets don't really fit anything properly. Cabinets also are poorly laid out, so that you can't store your pots/pans adequately.

Take your money and move somewhere else.

Why should the Management pay for your ignorance? You said the vehicle was not parked in the visitor space. As far as storage did you not look at the apartment before you moved in?

where are you suppose to park your car if all the visitor spots are taken? (mostly by the people who work in shops near by) Yes. I've seen them, parking their car and happily jumping over the fence to their work...Don't even bother complaining it to the management, they don't reply.

I've had the same experiance with management...And they towed my car once and my roomate's twice, and we both HAVE the parking pass displayed
