I was confused when I started to read the reviews. I believe people have The Fitz confused with Westchester at Rockville. WCRT is located on 100 first steet rockville, md. In addition I was told by a leasing agent that this is a brand new apartment building snd that no one has lived in the unit I am considering leasing.

I am considering Avalon at Decoverly or Westchester. At Avalon I can get a 2 bed for the same price of the 1 bed at Westchester. But at Westchester I am closer to my b/f job in DC and mine in Columbia, MD. If I move here I will write a proper review.

The Fitz was originally called Westchester at Rockville when it was managed as apartments by a company called Archer-something. It went through a couple of names and was then converted to a condominium. By the way, the units near the train tracks at the new Westchester may be somewhat noisy at night. During the day, the metro trains pass by with barely a whisper, but the long and slow freight trains at night make the foundations tremble.

Hi, my roommate and I are considering leasing an apt at the new Westchester. How often do those freight trains go by? Is it still worth renting there?
