I couldn't believe some of the reviews after I read them. I am glad that I did not read these prior to moving in. I am not sure if someone is just posting some of these reviews to try to get back at someone but for the most part we have not had a bad experience. We have an upgraded apartment and I prefer it compared to the prior condition of the apartments, I liked having new carpets and appliances, although we have had issues with the "new" dryer (that have tried to be fixed but it is still very loud but it works). Also, the contractors that were/are used for the upgrades are not very good, one of our cabinets has an extra hole drilled in it where they though the handle went, they wall in the master bath and it was gouged horribly when the new vanidy was put it (but it was later fixed). Anytime we have had a problem or needed something to be fixed it has been quickly attended to and corrected (excluding the dryer which they also contract the work out mostly-not sure there is too much they can do about it). The apartments don't have base molding which makes it have a bit of an un-finished look (which isn't bothersome) and some materials used are "cheaper" but its an apartment complex, they buy in bulk. The upgraded carpet is pretty nice. The major concern would just be the way tenants take care of these upgrades whether they hold up or not. We did see the change of management and other than that staff being gone a few times for "training". Overall the apartment is quiet and friendly.
