Okay, College Lane is in a relatively safe neighborhood-- it's a fairly mixed group of residents, many are retirees. That said there are some younger people thrown in, though it seems like they were somewhat selective and they're mostly nice.

Kelly and the other lady are nice and will try to help you as best they can, but I get the sense that there are some rules that they don't have any control over that they're required to enforce...

Like zoning rules. We have a two bedroom unit, and it's very spacious. There is a "den" which is on the opposite side of the apartment as the bedrooms, and, well, make no mistake about it, the den is a bedroom. That does not make it a three bedroom place, however-- and they're very particular about this-- you're forbidden to have more than two people on the lease... which is fine, but my roommate and I could save a good amount of money if we were to put someone else in that room. I suspect the rule has something to do with Salisbury's notorious anti-college zoning laws, but that's another story.

All in all, however, it's not bad for the price. $785 for this is probably too much, but (and I've checked) it is one of the best priced two bedroom apartments in town and, square foot for square foot, probably has the best bang for your buck.
