"It's All About MONEY At Mill Pond Village"

When I first moved into Mill Pond "I loved it" it seemed like a beautiful community and a luxury upscale apartment with well maintained grounds (which I was looking for)! I took pride in my community and enjoyed entertaining my colleagues and friends. I was told by management that there were many amenities at my disposal and that my rent would not increase greatly during the course of my residence. Well, here I am 2 1/2 years later and I'm not as happy or satisfied as I once was. I had never made plans to make Mill Pond my permanent home but I did intend to stay until I was ready to buy. I'm not ready to buy but unfortunately I'm ready to leave. My rent has increased every time my lease expires and it's time to sign a new lease. For as much money as I pay I would like to park in front of or at least near my building every night. Truly I believe the usage of the pool for tenants and their guest should be incorporated into the large amount of rent you pay. What is the clubhouse for' In other places I've lived the club house was for tenant use. I asked if I could use the clubhouse for a small (about 7 or 8 people) baby shower I wanted to host for a business partner and I was told that they don't "Do That" anymore because so many people have messed it up! Well I'm not so many people! And that leads me to my next point. Has the tenant criteria changed' Personally I can't say anything bad about the head Manager as a person, but how are the new tenants being chosen' I'm very disappointed and displeased with some of the newer mill pond residents. Loud music, loud cars playing loud music, weird people walking around, reckless and rude people speeding, reckless and rude people walking in the middle of the street, ghetto looking people (and I don't mean a specific race I'm talking White, Black and everything in between) and activities everywhere you turn. Where are all these BUGS coming from' I guess its safe to say that is the million dollar question. At first glance when you are given the standard It's a glamorous life at mill pond village tour, your hooked! But after signing the lease, ha ha ha jokes on you. Here is the real Mill Pond tour, cheap flat paint, bug infestation, unwanted showers for you and your automobile compliments of the ingenious sprinkler system, rent increases every year, etc, etc, etc. It is definitely "NOT all about you at Mill Pond Village".

I just moved out of Mill Pond after living there several years. Unfortunately, everything you have said about it is true. When we first looked at the apartments, we were told we could invite guests over to use the pool. When I brought my guests I was told, "only 2 at a time and you have to pay $5 per guest and ask for the passes at least 24 hours in advance. I didn't mind that, but why weren't we told that up front? We were told we could have bicycles, but weren't told we couldn't keep them on our balcony. Where are we supposed to keep them, since they don't provide a bike barn? They over-water the grounds and it just runs down the drains and, like you said, all over the cars. People were supposed to keep their dogs on a leash, but there was a guy near us with 2 put bulls that let them run loose all the time. And dog logs EVERYWHERE! I have never seen so much dog ---- in my life! That is not management's fault, but they should either find a way to enforce the "clean up after your pet" rule, or ban pets completely. There are some nasty people living there. We were told our rent would only go up $15 a month at the most each year, but it was raised $50 a month each time we signed a new lease. We finally just couldn't afford it anymore. It began as a nice community but is steadily going downhill fast.

Wow I thought I was the only one that complained about the sprinklers, I have a black fairly new car, and that water ate the top coat right off, when I brought it to the managements attention that it was going to cost me $200 to buff it out, they pretty much told me that it sucked to be me. and to this day there isnt a dry parking spot in the lot.

The above response HAD to be written by Sharon herself. I haven't met a single neighbor in Mill Pond Village who is happy with Sharon. I also know several people who have moved out because of her.
