First complaint: Office Management, very unprofessional and rude.
So called amenities are non-existent. For the price, this should be a gated community.
When you drive into mill pond village, there is a large sign advertising lots of amenities such as, lending library [[where is it' Never seen it, never heard of it'''Never told about it']], continental breakfast [[Again, where is it'' Never seen it, heard about it, or told about it]], gift wrapping'' , dry cleaning valet[[IF this is true, once again never told about it, or seen it done. I would not trust those people with my exspensive dry clean only wardrobe.]], indoor/outdoor pool. [[Indoor pool is not even open in the summer, what if someone doesn't want to be in the cold pool' or cant be in the sun' What if it is raining outside' Out door pool, opens at noon'''' For what we pay!' It should open at 8am.
Our bathtub, is so unleveled, after every shower or bath, I have to 'push' the rest of the water down towards the drain so there isn't standing water in our bath all day and night.
Every time I try to be pleasant and professional with the management to come to a solution for our multiple problems/situations the phone is slammed down on my ear at the end of each conversation.
My fiance does not even have packages delivered to our apartment anymore, so that she can completely avoid any confrontation from this woman. It is a shame we have to go out of our way to have something delivered.
The first and last time I ever experienced a pleasant ------ was when I was signing my lease over a year ago. She was even rude, when I re-newed the lease this year.
On numerous occasions, I have had to make more than one phone call for a situation to be resolved in a timely manner. It seems as though you have to push and be ignorant to get anything done here.
Recently we have had a lot of soliciting. Late hours of the night (around 9-10pm) someone comes around and slides Chinese restaurant menus in our door. For my fiance being alone one night, that could be unnerving.
Not to mention the people who live above us. I agree with the other posts, I thought there was some kind of screening for tenants to keep the community pleasant. The young couple living above us have no regard or maybe are ignorant to the fact that there are people living below them. It seems as though they are purposely making more noise than necessary.
I have tried to speak to our upstairs neighbors in a civil manner. Explaining that the buildings construction quality is low and that we can hear everything they say and do. That didn't work. I proceeded to call ------ our 'Property Manager' on a couple different incidences where it became out of hand. That didn't work. I then called the Local Police to have them confronted of Local ordinance noise violations. That didn't work. Now what'
I do have to commend the Maintenance Men that I have dealt with when ------ would not even speak to us. ----- is his name, and he is a delight. He knows what he is doing and fixes things once and doesn't have to come back. I also agree with the other posts about this ----- guy and ------, if he wasn't so far up her ass, maybe he would know what he was doing and she would have time to do her job rather than hide in her office and have ---- and --- do all her work.
Bottom Line. I would not suggest Mill Pond Village to anyone. At least not until there are serious changes made around here. Starting with hiring new management and gating the community.

The complaints about management are of major concern to me. Wonder if the management is any better now in 2009???
