Not as Bad as they Say...

I have been living at Mill Pond for almost a year now. I will admit that I do not really like the office staff but I just avoid having to deal with them. I am in the apartment business so I know what they deal with on a daily basis. It isn't always easy. One person may love you...but 20 others hate you. You can never win when you are a manager. Most will say all they look for is a rent check. It is not all they look for, but why shouldn't they expect you to pay' Everyone else in the world has to pay for their home, why shouldn't you' Not only that but most complexes get almost 20 complaints a day where everyone wants to yell at you. They are human too, maybe some of the staff is just tired from others coming at them. It isn't an excuse for them to be rude, but just look at their side of things before you come at them.

I love my apartment. Maybe I am lucky with the building I am in. I have quiet neighbors, and I never have parking issues. I never feel unsafe and I still have that neighborhood feel. I always pay my rent on time and all of my bills, so no one has to bother me, because I know how it feels to have to bother people to pay their rent. I recently received my renewal information and we decided to stay another year. It was a very reasonable price increase because I am still paying less than most complexes in the area.

I knew coming into my apartment things would not be perfect. The carpet looked great when I came in, but it looks a bit worn now. The showers have terrible pressure and the laundry doors kept coming off the track, but it is nothing worth getting upset over. We just take it as it is...a temporary living situation. If I wanted more then I would buy a home and make it perfect. But I know I am renting and certain things will pop up.

All in all I completely recommend living at Mill Pond. I would take everything on this site with a grain of salt. I personally know many of those people listed at most of the complexes listed in Salisbury and they are made out to be devils when they really aren't. They are just in a tough business dealing with tough people. All I know is I really like my apartment. I may not next year if I get new neighbors, but for now I love my home.
