The new management doesn't care!!!! He has come in a refurbished his whole apartment to his satisfaction and does NOT care about the tenants and their concerns. This place is going to hell in a hand basket. Here, we have tenants that don't pick up their dog crap and are trashing the place. Complaints have been made to no avail. I thought the new management would be open to making the place better. It was just fine before he got here. For those that didn't care for her, I did. We need Sharon back to kick this guy in the rear or the owners need to hire a manager that actually cares about the tenants and is not out for himself. Does anyone realize that with the money that he's putting in his apartment, we will pay for that at lease renewal time'
Parking is good. Floors are very thin and susceptible to high noise from above neighbors. Grounds are ok but prone to flooding. This is partly due to the area but a large part is poor landscaping. Safety seems to be good with the exception of people speeding through the development and the fact that no school buses are allowed on the property. Some children have to cross Naylor Mill Rd to get on the bus creating a tremendous safety risk for our children. BOE transportation does not care about this. The buildings seem to be built ok. Sound insulation is horrible and noise can be heard from top floor to ground floor. Most of the maintenance guys are great and try to go above and beyond to make the tenant happy. The front desk associate seems pretty nice. THE NEW MANAGER IS AN (explitive) AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE PROPERTY. He spending several hundred dollars remodeling his apartment which will get passed on to the tenants through rent increases. Over-all, not a terrible place to live, just wouldn't advise moving here with the current management.
The pools are nice but no guests are allowed without a $5 dollar fee per guest per day (no more than 2). And guest passes must be purchased in advance so you better hope you know their coming. Suggestions to have pre-made passes for short noticed guests was shot down.
If you reply, I will answer and can provide proof of all the above. I'm sure I can get MANY more people to come on here and validate.

I am considering a move to Mill Pond. After reading the many negative responses about the complex I am growing concerned about this decision. The grounds look great and the model apartment I was shown was terrific - made me want to move in immediately. But I am really having reservations especially with having a school age child. The website lists comunity activities - are there activities planned? Are the floors really as thin as suggested? Is the management as uncaring and unresponsive as being written?
It is so hard to know what is the right move - the completely negative reviews makes me think disgruntled or kicked out resident.
The glowing reviews makes me think complex employees are writing them.
