I have lived here for 2 yrs and would recommend this place to anyone. I am moving out of state, or I would stay here for a very long time. This place has improved since they hired a new manager, but has always been a good place to live. It is
quiet, very safe and yet very close to anything you may need or want. I think the
staff is very nice and thoughtful; the maintenance crew is professional and take
pride in what they do.... I have also met quite a few people that I enjoy seeing and talking to, really what more can you ask for'''''''' I am hoping that I will be this lucky in the future!!!!

I could ask for an apartment that is functional. The maintenance staff goes into apartments even if you havn't put in a request. I have to agree things have improved since the new maanger took over but this place has a along way to go. It is built like human mini storage. Parking is horrible and you can hear EVERYTHING in your neightbors apartments. So if you like people going into your apartment uninvited, dodging the plies of dog poop everywhere, paying for the additional "amenities" of the community (which should be included in the amount of rent you have to pay here) and loud parties from the 10 college students living in the aprtment above you ... then this is the place for you!

I wrote the response you refer to as mgmt. I am moving out of state and I do still really like this place. I have a pet, you are notifed a couple of days in advance of anyone entering your apt and they ask that you crate them ahead of time. There is noise of people living here, but I have not party types, etc. As far as the poop, I guess if you were to complain they would take care of it...I don't complain and I do clean up after my pet, but plenty don't..... I have come to know quite a few people here and they cannot believe the ratings....this place is nothing to complain about. Stick with clueless, some people are just angry and that is all they are...

I appreciate the response from clueless renter. The original rating sounds as though it is written by the new management or maintenance crew. I am considering a move to Mill Pond and have read practically every review. I am pleased to learn the prior manager is gone - the reviews sound as though she was a real piece of work. I am very concerned though about people coming into the apartments without authorization from the tenant - if I paying rent I EXPECT a certain level of privacy and safety - especially with pets. I am concerned about unreasonably noisy neighbors - especially college aged tenants - I would like peace and quiet after work. My hope is the current management will show me the actual apartment I may be renting BEFORE I sign a lease. And I certainly hope the management is aggressive about going after tenants which do not clean up their dog's poop. I would like to possibly open my windows in nice weather. I will keep check of this review site before I move in - I am hoping I can get a better take on the whether this is the place to live or not.
