We've lived here for about two years, and I have to say that we'll be leaving as soon as it's financially feasible. Management is indifferent at best, and rude at worst.
If you take their initial tour and hear the person attempt to tell you that there is isolation from adjacent apartment/outside noise due to the concrete walls, don't be deceived. Concrete transmits sound; it does not isolate it. You will hear the apartments adjacent to yours rather readily, and management does not enforce their self-proclaimed rules about noise levels outside the apartments.
Regarding the apartment and building quality, there is a large amount of mold constantly around all the window frames which require almost daily attention to keep under control. There is also excessive trash and debris in the common areas as well. Certain immature tenants also feel that it's necessary to urinate/vomit off their balcony and in common areas.
Overall, I do not recommend Parkwood Apartments for even the proletariat. The rent is too steep for the quality of the grounds/buildings, average tenant behavior, managerial staff conduct, and services available.
