Appliances from hell

The general expectation for a three-bedroom townhouse is that somewhat more than a single person will be living there, maybe something like a family, right' Well, not according to the appliances that are provided with the unit.

Particularly the refrigerator.

It's TINY TINY TINY.

You can not fit a week's worth of food for a family of only three into it.

Oh and if you have to get something from the bottom shelf, get ready to get on all fours to retrieve it.

I kid you not.
The dryer that comes with the unit is unusable.

Well, you can use it, but expect your electric bill to MORE THAN DOUBLE if you do use it.

It's an electricity hog really for nothing.

The stove is ancient and the heating elements are popping out of their slots all the time.

They made an attempt to refinish the nasty, cut-up countertop when we moved here two years ago, well, they did such a lousy job that it all peeled again in a matter of months and now looks worse than it did in the beginning.

You have to remove at least some upper cabinet doors, because you get sick of getting hit in the head with door corners REAL FAST.

Basically, the units haven't been updated in something like 20 years.

For the money you pay, it's barely worth it.

well i live here, and I want out because i'm sick of the little kids; i'm sick of the parents who don't come out and watch their kids; i'm sick of the challenge folks who have moved in the community and who are not cared for properly by their home health assistants. They are roaming the community with care. Now I don't know what office you speak of, but their is no male property manager. The old property manager who did take care of things was fired, but replaced by a woman. The landscaping is beautiful; but the quality of care and urgency has been lost. I am planning to leave as soon as I can. And furthermore, the sons of the actual owner, does not invest in its tenants as their dad did; their merely concern with the bottomline. PROFIT
