my family and i moved here at a request from friends that were living there at severn. now, the first impression that i had was when we pulled into the apartment complex for the first time and i told my wife that this looks like a ghetto. sure enough, tenats were outside making noise, getting drunk, and carrying on like there wasn't anybody else around(later on, the tenats have been very noisy almost everyday and cops will come over but that apparently didn't solve anything).
My second impression was when i found out that our neighbours have cops come to the door at least once a week.
My final impression was when the leasing office finally sent maintainence over to our apartment after several months to fix a hole in the bathroom. since then, the temporary fix failed and the hole has returned.
overall, this is not the complex that families should go to at all. the leasing office did put a facelift on all the apartments buildings, but you can't cover the negative things that have been going on...don't go to this place

The Orchards is nothing like this! Are you sure you didn't live in Arwell! I can't believe you would get online and lie like this! "this looks like a ghetto"! HA Where the hell do you think your going in Anne Arundel County for only about $1,000 a month?????? No where but some place close to the ghetto. People getting drunk outside in the orchards???? Ha funny because they will put your ass out@@@ And maintainence is damn good there!!! get ya mind right

it took this long to respond to my email good one and wow the cussing. you must be ghetto oh well, like i said when i FIRST got there since then it has improved slightly but again you must not get out much. The apartment and the surrounding areas still have bad elements around or maybe you have failed to notice the po-po around every other day. I won't recommend this apartment to anybody that has a family. You can stay apparently you don't have a choice. Me and my family will move soon.

Can you recommend anywhere decent to move too? My husband just accepted a job in the area and we are moving from out of state. This does not sound like a place to move our kids too.

THIS PLACE WAS TERRIBLE AND GUESS WHAT? IM BLACK AND IT IS GHETTO! THE PIZZA DELIVERIE PEOPLE WONT EVEN COME TO THE AREA. THE STAFF IS RUDE AND UNRESPONSIVE AND THE UNITS THEMSELVES ARE CRAP! DO NOT MOVE HERE IF THERE IS EVEN SO MUCH AS A CARDBOARD BOX AVAILABLE!
