There is a reason it's less expensive

I lived here for almost a year, October 2006 through September 2007. The thing that bothers me the most is that because I moved one month before my lease was up it seems that I have been charged excessive fees due to my "early term". However, the fact remains that I paid through my whole contract and still am paying $110 in advertising fees and many other fees over and above the amount I paid in deposit. Not sure how I could have incurred these fees when they haven't had any chance to advertise my unit as they seem to also be charging me for repairs that have not yet been done. Overall the office staff is very nice, but it is obvious this isn't the best place to live. The complex is mostly vacant at any given time even though the rent is about $300 cheaper than any nearby apartments. I did not personally encounter any problems or crime and for that I am thankful, but due to the excessive fees charged to tenants who actually pay their rent on time and in full and the signigicantly low rating of this place I would not recommend it.
