Somerset Woods

So Far So Good! From: Comfortable_Tenant Date posted: 4/17/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   I moved into the complex in January of 06, so far so good. When I first moved around here, I didn't know what to expect because, Somerset Woods looked very decent. They keep landscaping up to parr and the townhouses are very spacious and well kept inside and out. I didn't know what to expect because of the community further up from here. Orchards at Severn and Warfield Town homes. Those complexes wasn't even a choice for me, not the way it looked from the outside. They also have a lot of Teenagers hanging out in the area, it looks like a SE DC neighbour hood, but Somerset Woods looked totally different. I was afraid because there so close together. After Living here for 4 months, I am very pleased. I'm pleased with the community, rental office and definitly the rent price. I am located right at the playground, but don't have any problems. I am actually shocked that I don't have issues with the neighborhood. I am very big on respect and safety. I haven't had any safety issues and the kids don't bother. I don't know if issues are going on else where in the complex, but where I'm located its about 12-15 houses and it seems as if we're all in the same boat, when it comes to our safety. There is one problem that I have and that is maintenance. Maintenance is slower than normal but its o.k. because they only have two guys, which I like because you'll be able to point the finger if something doesn't go right. Oh and they take out your trash if you're located on Pioneer Drive. So far I really like it here-The real test is when Summer Time hit-I'll update you then P.S. Don't let those other townhomes discourage you, I live here and its if there not even there. I never have to go up there, I always come and go the back way and so does my guests.
