I have lived at Somerset Woods for almost a full year now. My first problem is the demo apartment is much nicer than any apartment they will ever rent. The bathroom is the most disgusting thing I have ever lived in but I guess I get what I pay for. There are about 6 different colors of tiles and the grout on the walls is white and the grout on the floor is brown no matter how much you clean it is still dingy and dirty. The HIRED help in the leasing office is a nightmare, especially Tracy. She is rude and not helpful. I have reported several problems in my apartment including air conditioning and leaks and I have to call at the least three times and some things still have not been fixed. Be careful about renting...in the winter things look a great deal better than in the summer. There are SSSSSOOOOO many kids and teens that are in the streets at all hours of the day and night. People get put out all the time in the neighborhood and there stuff is just thrown on the curb (excellent curb appeal). There is always some sort of problem; the police are constantly in the area trying to keep down trouble. My husband and I have been harrassed several times by the police just riding down the street. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR WITH THIS PLACE! The rent is cheap but you deal with a great deal of BS when you sign up. I would rather pay an extra $100 bucks and not put up with Tracy alone! When we first moved in the parking was okay but now we have to park in another parking lot and walk to our house since people with so many different cars are parked in our lot. The grounds are constatly littered with trash and garbage from the kids that throw crap on the groud. Our neighbors are always playing loud music and we have even gotten a notice on our door for the music when in fact it is the next door neighbor. Our alarm system is faulty and the police are always coming out saying that the alarm is going off and it is not. We have multiple problems with the ceiling in all rooms from previous water damage and the patch jobs they do are disasterous and ugly. The fence outside my apartment has graffiti and the one in front is broke down with exposed nails; I have asked the office to fix three times so my son doesn't get stuck but of course still not done. I guess that is enough but don't be fooled by the leasing office, they are very kind when you sign the lease but once they get you to sign on the dotten line everyting goes to hell. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
