I've lived at this apt. for two years. The landlord seemed nice enough minus the fact that he never wanted to get involved in tenant disagreements, or enforce carpet rules, which are clearly stated in the lease. There were a couple incidents of car break-ins, and most recently there was a shootout behind the building, leaving one man dead. It seems like the neighborhood is heading downhill, but the rent keeps going up...perhaps it has something to do with the new office buildings downtown.

No rodent or roach problems, but the maintenance dept. is slow to respond and often does a poor job. The second bed window leak has yet to be fixed and its been like that since we moved in. He claimed to be coming to repaint the peeling walls, but that has yet to happen.

If you are an easy going person and let things roll off your back, then move here. If not the little things will add up and irritate you...forcing you to move.
