I have lived in Alexander House for a year now. When I moved into my apartment, the kitchen had brand new appliances, the carpeting was new, the walls were freshly painted. Further, the neighborhood is safe and so conveniant. Its around the corner from the metro and the rent is reasonable. I live in a one bedroom and its 1100 a month. I have everyting I need.

As for the garage its been taken care of, as for maintenance Tito and crew are helpful and always do the job right away. I think people enjoy bashing when they are angry. However, the reality is that apartment living has some adjustment. If your used to living in a house in the suburbs then urban life is not for you. There are people who live here who are from all walks of life and friendly. This is a apartment building right next to the metro so its a little loud.

However, overall you can't beat the location, the staff, the condition of the apartment, and the price. Thats coming from someone who just renewed their lease for the 2nd year.

$1100.00 is reasonable you got to be kidding and I'm sure you have to pay over $80.00 for parking what is wrong with you people.

I also live in alexander house and have no problems with the rent, or the space that i have. the security is nice and 1485 in downtown silver spring is quite the norm around here. if you want to pay a cheaper price and not have the amnenties that we have here at AH, the go to a less expensive area.
