I previously resided in the Alexander House for 6 years. When I initially moved in (1998), the management (Dreyfus) company at the time was SUPERB!!!! The building was always nice & clean. The leasing/management team took pride in the units & in pleasing the residents.

Since then, there have been NUMEROUS management companies overseeing this building. The building has deteriorated tremendously. My mother is a current resident here. I visited her in May 2007 and was totally STUNNED at the lack of upkeep. The area rugs in the lobby & hallway are FILTHY. The glass entrance doors are always dirty.
When the general are isn't kept clean, that's a great indication they probably don't maintain the units.
