I will truly miss living at the property. AWSOME location and a great place to live. I had the pleasure of living there for 4 years and hate to be leaving. The apartments are great. My apartment had a nice change of pace with a light tan paint job throughout with white trim. This is how the management painted my apartment, not me and it looks rich. Parking is great with a garage in the building and a public garage next to the building.

I think there was a change in management or the building was sold about a year ago because things were starting to go down hill back then and now have improved drastically. The common areas could use some updating but the guy at the front desk told me that the company (I think Trammell Crow is the name) is replacing all the common area carpet, re-painting the place and redoing the resident areas. I guess it takes a while to get something like that going. The best thing is that the rent is not that bad for Silver Spring. Last year I was thinking of moving but when I looked around figured it wasn?t worth the difference I would have to pay in rent.

Only draw back or negative experience I have had are with some of the residents. There is a small group of people, not sure who they are, that don?t like the staff here. It seems as if this person has it in for the manager (who is very nice and has always been helpful). I saw the other comments on the page and think they are from this crazy person in the building. It?s a shame how a few people can try to push their private agenda onto others with letters posted on my door, under my door, complaining. Well I guess it did some good because they lead me to this web site.

Anyway I would highly recommend The Alexander House to anyone looking for a apartment in the Silver Spring area
