I've lived here almost a year now and I'm gonna be sad to leave when I move into my new condo. Aston Woods was a lucky find when I moved up for a new job, and I couldn't be happier with this apartment if I didn't need something closer to DC. I had one of the newly renovated units with new carpet, fixtures and appliances. I only had one maintenance issue with a leak from the apartment upstairs--maintenance was onsite within the hour and they fixed it right away--then came back to check it the next day! The one bedroom units are very spacious and I've received many complements from my friends, some of whom rent places that are double the price in Rockville, Arlington etc. and half the space. Staff are courteous and happy to help. Residents are good, quiet folk and I've NEVER had any noise issues (the only thing I hear at night is the air conditioner if its on!) My only gripes are the tight parking spaces (well, compared to the South) and limited hot tub and fitness center hours.
