the bennington is a total monet...from far away, it seems beautiful but when you get close, everything is a MESS:

PARKING-wouldnt be a problem if the garage door worked, but it breaks so often, it is not even worth it...there is also no option for guest parking, so if you have a friend stop by for even an hour, they have to pay to park in a public garage down the street

NOISE-i have been woken up numerous times by neighbors fighting...i am also able to hear my neighbor using the bathroom

GROUNDS-while the lobby and public rooms are trendy and comfortable, there is no pool or sundeck...makes beautiful DC weather hard to enjoy

APPLIANCES/CONSTRUCTION-i have experienced the same problems with the dishwasher and washing machine as others...and since the appliances are only a few months old, one cant expect them to operate any better

STAFF-the maintenance office will take forever to get to you, and even then you will have to put up a fight to get the problem fixed.

OVERALL-this apartment is NOT WORTH IT. Do your research...the only amenities are a business center where the internet always crashes and there can be up to a two hour wait to use a computer and a lounge that closes to residents at 10...you can get a lot more for your money in this area elsewhere!

You can afford your own internet access if you can afford the rent... unless you're a dope trying to live way beyond your means. I don't live here but the business center complaint is just silly.
