I have lived in Fairland Apartments for years. I have prayed to get the Hell out and God allowed me to finally afford to do so and purchase something I can now call my own.







When I first moved to Fairland it was under a different management. It was gorgeous. It was clean and well kept. Not to mention whenever I had a problem maintenance was there the same day or the next day to take care of the problem. I was even comfortable about letting my children go out and play with out me having to worry.









Since Fairland changed over to Equity I have been to hell and back to re-live. They have put all these ridiculios strict rules regarding the pool where people did not attend the swimming pool anymore, there was no reserve parking and residents who have two to three cars were taking up space. When crime occurred on occassions you were never toldAT first. You were only told what management wanted you to know or you would not know anything unless you saw the police swarming outside your apartment buildings or helicopter flying around the building looking for someone.



I have seen people come and go with the years I have been at Fairland.





I was living there when the young children in the neighborhood came across a deceased body of a young girl when getting off the school bus, I was living there when two people were robbed outside of their apartment across from my apartment building, I was living there when 4 young guys went into a elderly couples home and robbed them at gun point. I was living there when bikes were being stolen off the residents balcony?s and I was living there when they had a flasher (peeping tom) looking at women through their windows and masterbating (all these incidents happened years ago since equity took over and right today there is a female prostituting herself out of her apartment where all the young teenagers of the complex and men who dont live in the complex are going and Fairland doesn't have a clue that this is going on in their community. I know this because a male friend of mine called me and told me a male friend of his took him to Fairland to the girl's home. I can go on and on and on about the crime and activities (past and present) going on in Fairland since Equity took over.





AND GET THIS. FAIRLAND HAVE SO MANY OF THE RESIDENTS WHO WANT TO LEAVE THE PREMISES BUT BEFORE THEY CAN AFFORD TO GET SOMETHING ELSE FAIRLAND THREATENS YOU BY FORCING YOU TO SIGNING A NEW ONE YEAR LEASE EVERY YEAR OR YOUR RENT WILL GO UP!!!! Thats their way of getting you to stay with them. To them there is not such thing as month to month. You will never get out. Luckily I was under the old management so a lot did not apply to me and I did not have to do a lot of that crap. I was on month to month.





It is terrible. I am happy to say I finally got my family out of that neighborhood and now I Can live in my new home and not have to worry about fairland telling me what I can and cannot do. Now I am the boss of my own castle!!!!!!







P>S> For those who dont know... check into the home equity mess they feed you. When they tell you so much money from your rent goes toward a new home. ITS A SCAM!!!!!!!! you have to find property owned under them to get that money. Fairland does not make that clear at all!!!! They make it seem as if you can purchase any home anywhere.
