The management hired thieves to paint my apt after I had moved in because they failed to do it BEFORE I moved in (there were HUGE spackle spots all over the place). These people stole thousands of dollars worth of electronics, jewelry and cash, not to mention they ruined all of my stuff with paint because they failed to use a drop cloth. This was reported to the police who decided to do nothing and told me to take it up with the management bc they were the party responsible. The management at first looked into the problem and admitted it was the painters, a few weeks later (with no progress) they told me it was not their fault and that they didn't know "who else had a key" to my apt. As a single, minority woman, this was apalling to me. THIS PLACE SUCKS. If you HATE all your vaulables and LOVE incompetent people, you should live here. If not.....RUN! P.S. - The walls are so thin that I have to listen to my neighbors PORN all day and night. The management is totally incompetent and most don't have beyond a high school degree with little english and reading skills and NO RESPECT for their residents or their property, not to mention they LIE.

First of all you should have had rental insurance, this would help in a case like this. Second, if you knew people were coming to paint, you should have moved your important belongings and hid valuables. Better yet you should have stayed while they were there. And what does being a single, minority woman have to do with anything, the same situation could have happened to anyone. Don't use race as an excuse for your stupidity.

Why can't she move into an apartment and NOT expect to be robbed by workers hired by their management??? She should sue because she would certainly win. Saying this is her stupidity, is like saying it's stupid to park your car and NOT EXPECT it to be stolen.
