"Thousands" of dollars worth of stuff' Come on! Get real! The police would no nothing about a felony' Give me a break. Sounds like a false claim and most likely the rest of the statements in this one are a LIE! Don't bother giving these claims a second thought. Since being here for more than 4 years, I would recommend you come live here and see for yourself. Yes, it's old, but it has better management than the other rental places around here. My roommate and I do not regret moving here and you won't either.

I don't know the situation, but it really isn't fair for you to accuse her of lying. A good Laptop costs around 2K and I own a pair of earings (a gift) that cost > 15K. These two small items would amount to thousands of dollars. Additionally, you would think that police officers would do their job to investigate this, but unless the loss is worth millions or the victim is VIP, burglaries are very low priority. Give her a break. I'm sure if you had the same experience, you wouldn't be too happy with the property.
