Convenient, Aging but Pleasant

The grounds are filled with trees and you get the impression you're in a forested area when you are less than 1 full block from the Silver Spring Metro Station and only 2 blocks from the revitalized downtown Silver Spring area. Some of the appliances are old, but they all work, and if they don't the management will respond promptly to requests. Our dishwasher broke once and we had a replacement the next day. I will say this is not to be considered a luxury complex but for the price and location, I have few complaints. I wish we had in-unit laundry facilities but at least they are on-site. I have yet to feel unsafe; crime hasn't been an issue that I've noticed. Also, they plan on tearing down the Northern portion eventually and putting a swimming pool, grocery store, upgraded fitness center, and more units than are there now. If you are looking for a place once that project is complete, I feel it will be the ideal living place in the Silver Spring area.

Wow. You must be one of the lucky ones and was able to get into an apartment that was not invaded by rodents. The stove was not put in properly and rodents came in throught the wall behind the stove. Management was a joke. Good for you if you are having no issues but all of those units should be torn down and rebuilt.
