I have lived in this building for two years, and I am counting down the days until I move out.
The Falkland Chase community consists of several buildings, so some are better than others. I happened to live in one that experienced a number of issues. First off, in the winter of 2007-2008, there was a MAJOR mouse infestation problem. My roommate and I caught at least 10 mice from traps within our apartment. The worst part was that we had to hound management to utimately do anything about it. Around March, 2008, the building was treated and we have only taken out 1-2 mice since then. Furthermore, management would not let us out of our lease (even with the mice problems) without paying a substantial penalty for breaking the lease. My roommate ended up getting lyme disease from the fleas carried into the apartment by mice (my dog is treated with Advantix and was comfirmed by the vet to not carrying fleas).
Since the mouse problem resolution, we have experienced fruit fly issues. The fruit flies appear to my coming from within the walls and from underneath window fixtures (we live on the second floor).
Mold was found in our apartment. Management fixed this issue.
To their credit, management responds to service requests within 24 hours. In the case of mice, they did not take the necessary action quickly (we lived with mice for at least 4 months). However, they do respond to plumbing and other issues very quickly. The grounds are decent, and the actual apartments are nice. Most units have hardwood floors. Also, the complex allows pets, which works out for me since I have a dog.
All in all, I am moving out of this complex as soon as my lease ends, and I would not recommend this complex to my friends. I cannot wait to get to a place without the hygeine and potential health issues!! AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt

Which building do you live in? I was thinking about moving into FC. (Very close to work). And if so, maybe I can avoid your building.
Also, how much is the annual rent increase usually? Thanks.
