I just moved out of my Hampton Hollow Apartment this past week after a 1-year lease. I can't say I'll miss it because I'm upgrading big time, but it was a fine place to live for the past year. I moved into one of the newly renovated apartments, which had very nice appliances and was nicely painted and carpeted. I had the chance to visit an un-renovated apartment, and the difference was stunning.

For the most part, the residence was quiet. I had a few noise issues over the course of the year, which I'll briefly describe. One neighbor, who lived across a grassy lawn from my balcony had two German shepherds which were left on their patio almost constantly and barked at anything that moved. Hampton Hollow allows pets, and even exceedingly large ones like these two dogs, so do a little snooping around your apartment before you move in. A lot of the single women in the area own little toy dogs that bark whenever they see or hear anything not completely in the ordinary. THE WALLS ARE VERY THIN, and you'll hear loud conversation, music, etc. without any problem. I had an inconsiderate neighbor move in below me and interrupt my sleep a few times. Whenever I complained about noise issues to the front office, they appeared to take care of it, which was nice.

Last few things:
The rent is a bit high for the space, etc., but is reasonable for the neighborhood.
There is nothing to do within a 10-mile radius of the apartments (eating out, activities, etc.)
The pool is very nice.
The landscaping is well-maintained and has grown in to a good extent.
The neighborhood is safe, although there were two car break-ins while I lived there.
Maintenance handles issues in a timely manner.
The front office staff is friendly, responsive, communicative, and doesn't change too much.
