I am responding regarding the recent post of utilities cost. I hate to say anything negative about Hampton Point because I have been EXTREMELY pleased with the complex but do not plan to renew my lease for the first time in 5 years because of the electricity costs. I've justified paying a minimum of 300.00 a month during the winter as a single tenant for the past few years because I was so happy with the complex but just can't do it anymore. I have spoken to the leasing office about it and they indicated all are in a similar situation, which I understand so they can't do much but offered to come out and put weather stripping on the door. I've also contacted BGE in the past to make sure it's an accurate read but they've continued to tell me it is. I do think it could be very worth it to live at Hampton Point depending on your financial situation but if you're unable to come up with the extra 800.00 - 1,000.00 to make it through winter then you should look elsewhere.

I couldn't disagree with you any more. Apartments are good but BGE makes everything bad for the residents. Evil BGE.

Yes I live here also and probably will not renew my lease. This is a great place to live but BGE has ruined it for everyone.I just can't afford $300-$500 electric bill on a 1 bdrm apartment.
