So, I have been living at Hampton Point Apts for 3 years. At first, things were a little rocky but management & my favorite pal Michael, who works in the office, took great care of me. HP is very quiet, no loud music, not a lot of kids running around, and the grounds are well kept. BEFORE NEW MANAGEMENT CAME IN, I used to call about issues I had in my apartment and it would be fixed by the time I came home from work. Everything was great! The only disadvantages living there is parking (I suggested assigned spots), the electricity bill (one time mine was $290!!!! in a one bedroom!), athe outdated appliances in the house (my kitchen floor is peeling up it's so old, they need a MAJOR RENOVATION, and the one bedrooms are more like studios with a wall btwn the room and the living room. Michael, who used to work in the front office, told me we were going to have renovations but I'm not sure what happend.

Anyways, now HP is under NEW MANAGEMENT AND THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!! I have made multiple calls about issues in my apartment, called multiple times in a day and no one would answer the phone, it's just ridiculous! I AM NOT RENEWING MY LEASE!!!!! This new management is doing a horrible job. I like the maintenece men, they are always helpful, but management seems to have a problem in writing work orders for apartments. I have had multiple issues over the past three weeks and only 1 was resolved. I am infuriated at management's lack of professionalism to ensure their tenants are satisfied and well taken care of. I can not wait until my lease is up. i have even considered breaking my lease early. I do NOT like the new staff AT ALL!
Don't get me wrong, HP is a nice place to live, but I just can't live in an apartment complex with shotty management.

Funny, I've had BETTER responsiveness from the front office since the new management took over. The grounds are better kept, the hottub finally actually got FIXED this year (after 3 years of non-function). Everything I've asked to have fixed has been in a speedy manner. I had no major issues with previous management and Michael was terrific... but the hottub never got fixed and the bushes in front of my apartment had become so overgrown the sidewalk was becoming impassable... both of which were corrected within a short time of new management taking over.

I also agree with the first comment. I can never get anybody on the phone. I also experienced the same thing with Michael. If i call to have something fixed it was done by the close of buisness. Well not any more, you are lucky if it get's fixed in 3 days. Oh well what can we do??

I suspect this and the other 9/23 review were written by the same person with an agenda. The staff was good, but who freaks out this much about their leasing staff?
