There were a lot of hassles through the year I have lived here! On my move in date, the rental office was mysteriously closed and I tried for hours, with moving van on the way, to get the keys. There were rather frequent problems with roaches. They exterminated once a week, -but- when they exterminate you have to remove all items from your kitchen and bathrooms which is a major pain!!! As for maintenance, they left very poor results. When installing my air conditioner (window unit), they left broken glass on the carpet, and another time they had to replace a broken window (that they broke), and they left the tiny pieces of glass in the carpet, and BLOOD all over the carpet. Apparently the maintenance guy had cut himself. That's a huge health hazard!! The office was good about getting my carpet shampooed, but still...

As for the apartment itself, its very big, which is nice. The windows are drafty, and they could use central air. In the winter, you can't control the heat, and it can get very hot in the apartment. The kitchens are extremely small!, but the rest is adequate.

The neighbors were a great range. There were many nice people in the building, but we also had problems with mentally ill tenants, which the rental office didn't help with. (leading to a man setting his apartment on fire).

The rental office had two very helpful employees when I first moved in, but they are both gone. They frequently had to pick up the slack and apologize for shoddy maintenance, and roaches, when it was not their fault.

Overall, I would not recommend living here.
