Great place to live!

Montgomery Arms underwent a total renovation last year, and it was the nicest place we looked at in silver spring. The apartments are really big, with huge funky art-deco windows (not drafty at all), new appliances in the kitchen, central heating/air, nice neighbors (a few with kids and families, a lot of young 20-somethings, plus some older tenants). It's a 5-minute walk from the metro. You do have to park in the public garage next door ($85/month) but the rent here is cheaper than other places in the area so it's not such a big deal. My only complaint is that the only place to dump your trash is in the far side of the back parking lot, so if you live on the opposite side of the complex it's a pain...
