i lived in Norhtwest park Apartments From 1992-2006. i grew up and everyting. i have to say i really enjoyed living there. yes parking usd to be a nightmare but they have made a lot of changes so that there is a lot of parking. now u can always find a space. and yes people have roaches, rats and bed bugs but take it from some one who has actually been there and past it. here is my advice:
one when the rental office tells you to get the rat traps GO GET THEM!!! they really work and also theyre are these little green things they give out and the rats think its food and its really poison and they die i used to live at 618 northampton and when i saw the rats i freaked out and i did just that and i never saw a rat again and i lived there for about 5 years.

also i had gotten bed bugs at 618 and i got rid of those too. alcohol and some white powder called cal kills them cal burns them and their eggs so u wont have to worry about what they left behind i did this for 2 weeks everyday put this on all my funiture and they left to.

and about the roaches they would exterminate and i bought this really good stuff at the saupermarket and i rarely saw them. but i have to say that living in North west park was a great experience for me.
Theses are the pros:
theyre is an elementary school in the same property and the bues actually go through the property which is great and they run to almost 2am.
theyre is a 7 eleven and a pizza hut.. the in the blizzard of 1996 and 2003 having the 7 eleven was very helpful and i love the management!! they are very helpful and their practically like fmaily i even invited them to my sweet 15.
Cons:
and yes sometimes you can hear the neighbors and their loud ass music instead of calling the rental office tell them to turn it down if ur staightforward then most of the time you an get ur way. over all good experience and i think that now that i am of legal age that im going to move back.
