**I originally posted in January, but now that I've lived here a little while I thought I should come back and up my rating based on actual experience. Everything is still GREAT here, my building is really quiet and I have no complaints or regrets. I had a maintenance emergency on a weekend and someone was there in 10 minutes to address it and the whole repair was complete the following day.**
I had the cumbersome task of relocating from Los Angeles to Silver Spring and thus far the most pleasant and positive part of the project has been working with Oak Hill. The management office staff are very professional and handled everything with finese when it came to my move. Sally has been very kind and courteous even providing directions to local destinations for me.
My apartment is GREAT! Very comfortable and very affordable. I love the space especially in the bedroom and the large balcony is really nice. I can't wait until spring to use it. Seems to be a quiet community so far and it's close to shopping and other resources. I also love that I've been able to park right in front of my unit at any time of day or night. The only thing I miss is an elevator, but I was given a choice between a ground floor and top floor unit and I chose the top floor for the additional privacy and fabulous balcony. So the stairs are worth it.
