Large rooms and sunken living rooms do not make up for postage-stamp kitchens and poor-poor-poor maintenance. Sound travels through the floors like there are amplifiers. If you complain, the staff maintains that these are old apartments, so basic maintenance (e.g. weather stripping) is not included! Plan on purchasing extra cabinet space for kitchen utensils and food--there is less cabinet space than in any apartment I've lived in in 35 years.
