There are some issues, like parking can be a total nightmare. If you get home after dark, you will likely park your vehicle in a part of the lot nearer the street entrance than your apartment. At times, it's hard to get the staff to be responsive, especially if the problem is no big deal like a broken piece of equipment in the fitness room.
BUT, if you want to live in a safe, secure, high occupancy building (important for safety and maintainance issues) where the neighbors get to know each other and watch each other's back (much of the time...there are some unsociables in the lot but this is a big building, so....) at a reasonable rent, then this is the place. Parquet floors, large rooms (for an apartment, anyhow), multiethnic, multicultural community. Most of STAFF LIVE HERE INCLUDING MANAGER and have for years! That, alone, says it all.
