My daughter and I have lived here since June and love it! We fell in love with the complex as soon as we visited. The staff is wonderful and they really do go out of their way to make living here as stress free as possible. Whenever I had an issue it was resolved in 24 hours or less. The people who live here are very nice as well. In fact when I was moving in my neighbor across the hall helped us carry in boxes and someone else loaned me their handtruck. How often does that happen in a world where everyone is for self'! The weight room is not state of the art but it serves it purpose and I have lost over 30lbs living here. The pool is very relaxing and the picnic area is nice to enjoy. The staff hosted a summer cook out the weekend after I moved in that was awesome, we just had building wide trick or treating and I understand that there will be activities as we move into the holiday season. The staff tries to foster a feeling of family and togetherness instead of complete strangers living in a building and I really appreciate the effort. My daughter tells me everyday that she loves coming home and living here.
The building is older so the walls are thin and you can and will hear your neighbors on occasion. After living inthe District for over 20yrs I will take a crying baby or other noises over the sounds I used to hear on a regular basis. There is no loitering or littering and it is very clean and well kept around the building. The parking is ample but I do not like the policy of filling out a visitors sheet for visitors after 5:30 p.m. but I do understand why it is done. I have no major complaints or issues with Suburban Hill and we absolutely love living here.
